Testimonials

"I first met Esther over 8 years ago, when my daughters took dance classes with her. My oldest has been on a few of her competition teams, taken her specialty camps, participated in 49er Jr Gold Rush because of her and enjoyed her master classes. Anytime Esther is in our town, my daughters sign up for her master dance classes. She has so much positive energy it fills the room and inspires everyone around her. We look forward to participating to anything she does in the future."

"Esther Ayorinde, is a spirited and wonderful woman. We worked together at a popular Dance Studio, in San Jose, CA for a years. It is hard to put into words what a talented and motivated woman she is. Whatever she starts she finishes to perfection. All her co-workers and students alike adored her willingness to work and yet have fun at the same time. She was passionate about her craft and therefore made all her students more passionate dancers and performers. Through those years, I never heard a bad word about her, as a person or a teacher. She always treated her students with such respect and love. Anyone who has crossed paths with Miss Esther, are blessed to have done so."

"I have worked with and known Esther for almost a decade and her contribution to the education and enhancement of youth has been truly inspiring. She has always leveraged her experiences to give back to children of all ages. Many of my students have attended her camps and received valuable lessons that supersede the dance training they receive: they learn to be confident individuals who go after their dreams and goals no matter what. Going after ones dreams is something Esther has always done in her personal and professional life and it inspires so many. I can't wait for her camps to come to my city."

When I was in college at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA, I had the fortune of meeting Ms. Esther Ayorinde. We were both members of the Santa Clara Dance Team, and worked together closely in practices, performances and later, a convention she put together for Northern California dance studios called Dance & Cheer Extreme (DC Extreme). She hired me as the tap instructor for this convention, and I was thrilled to get the opportunity to work with dancers all over the Bay Area.

For several months, the DC Extreme staff brought everything you could want in a convention right to the hometown of various studios in the Bay Area. Our amazing faculty spanned jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary, gymnastics, and even acting! At the end of the week, we put on a show for friends and family so they could see how much their dancers had learned in only a few short days. The energy was high, the dancers were excited, and the smaller, more intimate convention size allowed us as instructors to really interact with and mold our students. It was truly inspiring!

For me, this camp was one of the first opportunities I had to teach my own convention-sized classes and create my own choreography. It pushed me to reach creative levels I never knew I could get to, and the talented dancers I got to work with pushed me even more!

Even though my time with DC Extreme ended six years ago, it was one of the highlights of my dance career, and one that catapulted me into the opportunities I've received since. I am very grateful to Esther and DC Extreme for one of my first professional dance opportunities, and will always remember the experience fondly.
